In this role, you will be responsible for introducing, maintaining, and improving the assembly and manufacturing processes. As a specialist in both product and process, you will be the go-to person for technical matters both internally and externally.
- Leading, executing, and reporting on Process Flow + FMEA within NPI projects
- Assessing Technical Product Documentation (TPD) for assembly time (pre-calculation), manufacturability, and risks (FMEA)
- Continuously seeking opportunities to improve efficiency within and outside your department (implementing improvement projects and procedures)
- Actively maintaining customer and supplier relationships
- Taking full responsibility for the guidance, execution, and reporting of TPD reviews for all new and revised products
- Leading improvement projects as a driving force
- Owning the product and process technically, acting as an advisory expert across the organization, and disseminating knowledge and best practices
- Working closely with (Senior) Quality Engineers to promote a Zero Defects mindset and focusing on a "First Time Right" approach
- Implementing new assembly methods in production
- Regularly and proactively coordinating with customers on ongoing and new developments
- Taking the initiative to engage with suppliers on process and product improvements
