Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Embedded Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years in a coordinating role, preferably alongside several years in a project leadership position.
Industry Experience: Over 3 years of experience in the development and leadership of Internal Combustion Engine Control Systems.
Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with Powertrain domain and E/E Powertrain Architecture.
Specialized Experience: Experience with Hydrogen Internal Combustion Engine development is a plus.
Coordination Skills: Proven ability to coordinate multiple engineers across different domains.
Supplier Management: Experience in managing supplier relationships.
Personal Qualities: Team player with a proactive attitude, strong analytical skills, and a problem-solving mindset.
Technical Methodologies: Knowledge of Six Sigma methodology and embedded software design processes (V-cycle).
Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Dutch or willingness to learn is highly desirable.

You will play a pivotal role in leading the hardware and software development of Powertrain Control Systems, enabling Trucks to enhance their market position by making trucks safer, easier to operate, and more driver-friendly. For Embedded Engineering, a division of PACCAR Global Powertrain, we are seeking a Platform Owner for the Powertrain Control System with a focus on Hydrogen Internal Combustion Engines.

Coordinate Development Activities: Lead the hardware and software development of Powertrain Control Systems focused on Hydrogen Internal Combustion Engines.
Team Leadership: Manage and guide a team of hardware and software engineers.
Supplier Management: Oversee and coordinate activities with suppliers.
Agile Methodology: Implement Scrum/agile processes for product backlog management and prioritization.
Project Reporting: Present and report on project status regarding Quality, Cost, Timing, and Performance (QCTP).
Technical Alignment: Ensure technical definitions align with strategic goals, and report any discrepancies.
Risk Analysis: Initiate and define risk analysis and validation plans for both hardware and software components.
Project Planning: Develop, monitor, and report on platform project plans for software and hardware development.
Meeting Organization: Arrange and participate in meetings with suppliers and internal teams.
