Om de functie als mechanical engineer uit te voeren heb je een HBO werktuigbouwkunde of mechatronica opleiding nodig. Als je relevante werkervaring hebt opgebouwd op het MBO, dan kan dit natuurlijk ook! Daarnaast ben je communicatief vaardig en vind je het fijn om in een team te werken. Je bruist van de energie en wilt je kennis ook graag met je team delen. Daarnaast beschik je over:
- De passie voor techniek
- Goede kennis van 3D-tekenen, bijvoorbeeld SolidWorks
- Kennis van besturingstechnische of elektrische aspecten van een machine

Als mechanical engineer ben jij verantwoordelijk voor het ontwerp van nieuwe én bestaande machines en installaties. Wij bouwen modulair en bedenken slimme oplossingen om de machines makkelijker te assembleren. Dit doen we met behulp van het 3D-tekenpakket SolidWorks. Als mechanical engineer maak je ook de detailtekeningen, stuklijsten en calculaties van de machines. Je hebt contact met leveranciers over materialen en specificaties en koopt dit zelf ook in. Uiteindelijk ben je natuurlijk ook nauw betrokken bij het testen van nieuwe of verbeterde machines! Je ziet de door jou ontwikkelde machine ook weer terug in de fabriek, wat dit extra leuk maakt.
